Elano Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eugeniusz Chojnacki fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granatowo-Bordowi's protests and gave Eugeniusz Chojnacki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Granatowo-Bordowi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eugeniusz Chojnacki hit a great ball. If Aureliusz Mockiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Przebendowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Przebendowski in the 25th minute of play. Granatowo-Bordowi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Pedrinho Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Millano Bartumeu, making the score, 1-1. Aureliusz Mockiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gears of War MZT's Jonas Almeida got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Gears of War MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Chojnacki came free, but Elano Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Miroslaw Przebendowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elano Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 42 minutes into the game, Granatowo-Bordowi's Aureliusz Mockiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After the first half Granatowo-Bordowi were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hudson Abreu was the one to do the kick off. If Miroslaw Przebendowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Olívio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliusz Mockiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miroslaw Przebendowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Eugeniusz Chojnacki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Duda Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duda Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Gears of War MZT got a freekick which was hit by Duda Teles. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 69th minute of the match. If Pedrinho Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miroslaw Przebendowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 74th playminute. Elano Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Mockiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miroslaw Przebendowski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Elano Motta was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Granatowo-Bordowi booed when Gears of War MZT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Aureliusz Mockiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elano Motta was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Duda Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 88th minute of play. Elano Motta made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eugeniusz Chojnacki sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 93rd minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granatowo-Bordowi played a much better game than Gears of War MZT and deserved their victory. The Gears of War MZT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
