The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Cabral during the 3rd minute. Armandinho de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho de Lara having to interfere. Amílton Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho de Lara having to make a save. Cristian Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho de Lara having to interfere. Armandinho de Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amílton Dantas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. If Diamantino Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Amílton Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Diamantino Cabral was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. The supporters of WOGLES booed when Leria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Amílton Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armandinho de Lara. Amílton Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Amílton Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. WOGLES's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. WOGLES's Ivo Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí de Almeida in the 44th minute of play. Ivo Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão de Lima in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armandinho de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Dantas in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leria FC's zone, Ekrem Enfa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho de Lara came out of the goal and Ekrem Enfa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armandinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Amílton Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leria FC's Armandinho de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amílton Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Armandinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Meirelles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. WOGLES's Edinho Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Ekrem Enfa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. WOGLES's Amílton Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armandinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Amílton Dantas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Armandinho de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WOGLES. 79 minutes into the match, Amílton Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho de Lara. Leria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 84th minute, Telmo Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Pimenta. WOGLES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 88 minutes into the match, WOGLES's Amílton Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Telmo Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leria FC's protests and gave Telmo Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. Ken Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Armandinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the WOGLES players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
