The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gui Joinvilense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrianinho Neto went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Donato Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sandro Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUCK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Bonninal fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Bonninal's Adrianinho Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chicão de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Başkara in the 27th minute of play forced DUCK's goalkeeper Gui Joinvilense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Bonninal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, DUCK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Bonninal's Dalmo do Vale took a good shot, in the 39th minute, which hit the crossbar above Gui Joinvilense's head, and flew over the goal. DUCK's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Bonninal. Bonninal's Arif Gaffar Başkara got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gui Joinvilense made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Adrianinho Neto sent off a good shot on target. Arif Gaffar Başkara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gui Joinvilense made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrianinho Neto to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Arif Gaffar Başkara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gui Joinvilense was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Gui Joinvilense came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Bonninal's Adrianinho Neto. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 68th minute, Cao Ling Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gui Joinvilense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cao Ling Yi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Neto in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gui Joinvilense saved DUCK from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, DUCK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Brito to maneuver through the defense. When Adrianinho Neto came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bonninal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Neto couldn't finish the play. Bonninal's Chicão de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Coutinho in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Cao Ling Yi made a precise shot to the right of Gui Joinvilense. DUCK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Nazario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gui Joinvilense was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, DUCK's Remo Coutinho got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazario in the 95th minute of play forced DUCK's goalkeeper Gui Joinvilense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bonninal fully deserved thier win.
