Not a Number's Emanuel Cămărășan got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Not a Number's Ernesto Moraes got control of the ball when Denílson Mello tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Renascer booed when Not a Number was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Not a Number's goalkeeper Ernesto Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Mello. André Luís Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Gerber having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Not a Number's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Renascer the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Not a Number:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Renascer:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luís Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cauan Carioca's late challenge caught a Not a Number's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Not a Number booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, André Luís Alves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Renascer's Aílton Gerber. Aílton Gerber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aílton Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Alves in the 62nd minute of play. Alex Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Alex Faria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aílton Gerber, 1-2. André Luís Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Gerber having to interfere. After 70 minutes, André Luís Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Not a Number and the Renascer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Not a Number was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Alves to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Cămărășan took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aílton Gerber. Aílton Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Alves came free, but Aílton Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betão Martins hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Aílton Gerber stood somewhat misplaced when Emanuel Cămărășan came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 97 minute. The Renascer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Not a Number were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
