Aílton Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Arvidsson in the 17th minute of play. Hílton Britto's late challenge caught a Järbo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Britto helped the player get up and apologised. Hílton Britto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Renascer defense, Niklas Stenqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aílton Gerber. The Renascer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aílton Gerber should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esbjörn Mickelsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Gerber saved Renascer from getting behind. Aílton Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esbjörn Mickelsson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Gerber saved Renascer from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Renascer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Mickelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Järbo's Esbjörn Mickelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aílton Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Renascer's Aílton Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Stenqvist in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Ceresso during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Daniel Ceresso hit a great ball. The Renascer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Mello made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Narciso Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Rudberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Aílton Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Mickelsson went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Renascer's Aílton Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Billing in the 61st minute of play. Osvald Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aílton Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Järbo's Osvald Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aílton Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Billing in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Karl-Åke Billing took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Aílton Gerber to make any attempt to save it. Hílton Britto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Renascer! The referee gave Järbo a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ralf Utter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Renascer's Aílton Gerber. 1-7. Renascer's Aílton Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Renascer from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Järbo booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Karl-Åke Billing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Järbo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
