Octavio Figueroa came out of the goal and Gilvan Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gilvan Brito sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Paes in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Figueroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Guilherme Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored vitoria u17's protests and gave Guilherme Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Octavio Figueroa, was totally fooled by MM g's Gabriel Paes, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 14 minutes into the game, Jean Paraense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Figueroa. Jean Paraense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 17th minute, Gilvan Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Alves in the 22nd minute of play forced MM g's goalkeeper Mathias Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Brito in the 27th minute. A collision led to vitoria u17 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edu Alves hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Edu Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Paes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Octavio Figueroa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jean Paraense came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Octavio Figueroa could save by the left post. MM g's Mathias Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Alves in the 43rd minute of play. MM g were furious when Didi Prestes was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, Didi Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. vitoria u17's Octavio Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Paraense in the 54th minute of play. Raúl Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Octavio Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Octavio Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Paraense in the 65th minute of the match. If Gabriel Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MM g booed when vitoria u17 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Juan Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Edu Alves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathias Leme, 4-2. When Gabriel Paes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the MM g fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Paes couldn't finish the play. The MM g fans cheered their team off the field, for while vitoria u17 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
