Claudinho Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ribeiro Sales FC's Claudinho Barros in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Treze CG's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, Zé Augusto da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Ribeiro Sales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Gattuso to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vintilă Dorineanu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claudinho Barros sped through Treze CG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vintilă Dorineanu. Asmadi Subagio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ribeiro Sales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo de Toledo came free, but Weverton Everson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Dorineanu stood somewhat misplaced when Murilo Bueno came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Asmadi Subagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Murilo Bueno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Nestor Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Asmadi Subagio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vintilă Dorineanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Treze CG's Vintilă Dorineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Treze CG from getting a goal against them. Weverton Everson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo de Toledo in the 43rd minute of play. Nestor Félix hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vintilă Dorineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Barros in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Treze CG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walery Dobrowski who took care of the corner kick. Asmadi Subagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vintilă Dorineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Asmadi Subagio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbson de Andrade came free in the 67th minute and tried to tip the ball over Weverton Everson, but to the joy of Ribeiro Sales FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Asmadi Subagio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vintilă Dorineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Barros in the 71st minute of play forced Treze CG's goalkeeper Vintilă Dorineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Claudinho Barros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vintilă Dorineanu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeiro Sales FC's Murilo Bueno. But to his dismay, Murilo Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 87 played minutes Treze CG got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto da Costa. Asmadi Subagio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vintilă Dorineanu having to make a save. Ribeiro Sales FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
