Spectators: 7398 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Cosme kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Cássio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Dorineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Treze CG's Murilo de Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristóvão Carioca. Cristóvão Carioca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With 8 minutes on the clock, Fred Mello commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fred Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Pirapitingui SC's Genílson de Andrade in action when he in the 10th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Treze CG's Vintilă Dorineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Prestes in the 15th minute of play. Nestor Félix scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristóvão Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Paulo José Faria fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Treze CG's protests and gave Paulo José Faria a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pirapitingui SC booed when Treze CG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Magalhães's late challenge caught a Treze CG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Róbson de Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristóvão Carioca was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Treze CG's Nestor Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Félix in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Pirapitingui SC's Cássio Neto got a free kick in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Treze CG's Zé Augusto da Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristóvão Carioca. That made the score 4-0 after 39 minutes of play. After 41 minutes, Cássio Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirapitingui SC and the Treze CG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Pirapitingui SC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Neto. Nestor Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Cristóvão Carioca made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Félix to make the kick off. If Róbson de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Neto hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Zé Augusto da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristóvão Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Pedrinho Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Carioca having to interfere. Vintilă Dorineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristóvão Carioca having to make a save. In the 70th match minute, Treze CG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Silva to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Dorineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Pirapitingui SC defense, Nestor Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristóvão Carioca. The Pirapitingui SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristóvão Carioca should have stopped the shot. Cássio Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cristóvão Carioca came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze CG's Erasmo Botelho. But to his dismay, Erasmo Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A collision led to Pirapitingui SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Genílson de Andrade hit a great ball. The supporters of Pirapitingui SC booed when Treze CG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Dorineanu having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Róbson de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Félix took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Carioca. Cristóvão Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Pirapitingui SC's Cristóvão Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson de Andrade in the 95th minute of play.
