In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos futebol clube's goalkeeper Juarês Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acad Fanática por Futebol's Sidnei Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Giovani Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acad Fanática por Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovani Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Fernandinho Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Acad Fanática por Futebol's Giovani Moreno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Arantes. Juarês Arantes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Juarês Arantes made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dráuzio Batista sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Acad Fanática por Futebol's João Pedro Vaz got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Pedro Augusto Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åke Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos futebol clube's Alan Matorin. But to his dismay, Alan Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Víktor Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Santos futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld. A collision led to Santos futebol clube getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Saldanha hit a great ball. With a little luck, Santos futebol clube's Juarês Arantes got control of the ball when Dráuzio Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juarês Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sidnei Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Santos futebol clube's Pedro Augusto Saldanha got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sidnei Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Arantes having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Acad Fanática por Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Saldanha came free, but Åke Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Sidnei Falcão made the kick off in the second half. Sidnei Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Juarês Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the match, Serafim Salles notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Santos futebol clube's Juarês Arantes. Juarês Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Acad Fanática por Futebol fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Acad Fanática por Futebol's Sidnei Falcão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes into the game, Acad Fanática por Futebol's Dráuzio Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juarês Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei Falcão in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, João Adolfo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidnei Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Dráuzio Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juarês Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Alan Matorin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Ahlroht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Sidnei Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Juarês Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Santos futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Batista came free, but Juarês Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
