Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Casimiro Chico kicked off to start the match. Andres Cebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Tambillos booed when Ranchillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ranchillo FC's Zeledon Che proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ranchillo FC from getting a goal against them. Andres Cebos short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Zeledon Che to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carlos Gonchan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zeledon Che made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the match Benjamin Ceandro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Che skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Ceandro got free with Zeledon Che in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Benjamin Ceandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tambillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranchillo FC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Che having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ranchillo FC defense, Andres Cebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Che. The Ranchillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Che should have stopped the shot. Nunez Criston took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Ceandro. Federico Ceandro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Ranchillo FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Che had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Gonchan. 44 minutes into the game, Ranchillo FC's Nunez Criston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Ceandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When Andres Cebo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Tambillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Cebo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ranchillo FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gavino Darien hit a great ball. Carlos Gonchan might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Che. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Gonchan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gavino Darien fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchillo FC's protests and gave Gavino Darien a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ranchillo FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gavino Darien hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Cebo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Che saved Ranchillo FC from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Humberto Pueblo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casimiro Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Ceandro having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Ranchillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Darien to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Cebo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Che prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Cordara hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tambillos's Benjamin Ceandro got a free kick in the 80th minute. Casimiro Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Federico Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Humberto Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Cebo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Che saved Ranchillo FC from getting behind. Cristian Richie's late challenge caught a Ranchillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Richie helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tambillos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Ranchillo FC's Enrique Goren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Federico Ceandro. Nunez Criston scored 2-4 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Ceandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ranchillo FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tambillos's much stronger midfield.
