Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Ranchillo FC's Casimiro Chico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nunez Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hermengildo Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranchillo FC's Ramiro Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Chico in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Ben-Hur de Rafaela's Hermengildo Elequemedo got control of the ball when Nunez Criston tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Ranchillo FC's Casimiro Chico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 23 minutes, Amadeo Argina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ben-Hur de Rafaela and the Ranchillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ben-Hur de Rafaela booed when Ranchillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Casimiro Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranchillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Chico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Elequemedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casimiro Chico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. With his leg Hermengildo Elequemedo managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Ranchillo FC's Nunez Criston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nunez Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranchillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hermengildo Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Criston in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Lizardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hermengildo Elequemedo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranchillo FC's Nunez Criston. But to his dismay, Nunez Criston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Benedicto Reynardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Zeledon Che made a huge save. If Casimiro Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Che having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Ben-Hur de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Beremundo. 77 minutes into the game, Ranchillo FC's Nunez Criston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Elequemedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Ranchillo FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gavino Darien hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Ben-Hur de Rafaela were awarded a corner. Filiberto Corderun went to the cornerflag to take it. Higinio Beremundo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 90th minute, Filiberto Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben-Hur de Rafaela's Hermengildo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Cordara in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ranchillo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
