He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Árbol y Raíz reached it. After a rather tough play, C.A Azul y Oro's Ciro Gotzon got a free kick in the 18th minute. Anastasio Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Bela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anastasio Belmiro. C.A Azul y Oro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Natalio Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Árbol y Raíz's protests and gave Natalio Telesforo a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Árbol y Raíz got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Telesforo. In the 36th match minute, Árbol y Raíz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Herensuge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lorenzo Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Urbano Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Azul y Oro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Árbol y Raíz's Tomás Burutzagi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Gartxot having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Lorenzo Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Anastasio Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Esteve Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Anacleto Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Telesforo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Árbol y Raíz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
