After 21 minutes, Nereo Txerran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Árbol y Raíz and the Cavour players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cavour booed when Árbol y Raíz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo James, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Árbol y Raíz got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Guifre. Tomás Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Urti having to interfere. If Camilo James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Árbol y Raíz's Teobaldo Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Tulio in the 84th minute of play.
