Simon Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Chuse in the 18th minute of the match. Simon Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Chuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Chuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Gonzalez having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Baltasar Silban notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ukukus FC's Simon Gonzalez. Simon Gonzalez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Fiz in the 44th minute of play. Sergio Patrido's late challenge caught a Ukukus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ayajasco AFC's Sergio Patrido got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Ayajasco AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Chuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, one of Ayajasco AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Ukukus FC. Ceferino Quilino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emiliano Txartiko. 1-1. After 58 played minutes Ayajasco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Silban. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Santos Rosario put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Txartiko. If Niceto Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Txartiko having to interfere. When Albano Egun came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ayajasco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Egun couldn't finish the play. Fidel Chuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Simon Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Quilino's late challenge caught a Ayajasco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Quilino helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ukukus FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
