The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Egun got free with Cayetano Ugaitz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Fidel Chuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoyón's Cayetano Ugaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ayajasco AFC's Guillermo Sein got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arnoldo Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emiliano Txartiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Fidel Chuse sped through Hoyón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Ugaitz. In the 37th minute Hoyón were awarded a corner. Candido Belmiro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Candido Belmiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ayajasco AFC's Emiliano Txartiko did a great save. Ayajasco AFC's Emiliano Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Frederico in the 38th minute of play. Cayetano Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Chuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Chuse in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Hoyón's Jeremias Transito got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fidel Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Fidel Chuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 62 minutes into the match, Albano Egun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Ugaitz. Hoyón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Egun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Arnoldo Silvanito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Txartiko having to make a save. After 67 played minutes Ayajasco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Oto. Emiliano Txartiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Silvanito in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Ayajasco AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnoldo Silvanito fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnoldo Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Txartiko having to interfere. Guillermo Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Emiliano Txartiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Chuse in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Ugaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Hoyón's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Chuse came free, but Cayetano Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ayajasco AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hoyón had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
