Though ot was a great shot Renca AFC's keeper Juan Remigio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Juan Remigio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Machado in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Armando Donio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renca AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave V.Lynch the free kick. After a rather tough play, Renca AFC's Armando Donio got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Sixto Maura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Remigio skillfully saved the ball. Juan Remigio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Galtero made a kick off. With his leg Godofredo Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Renca AFC's Domingo Galtero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Frutos in the 64th minute of play forced Renca AFC's goalkeeper Juan Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Hanni having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, V.Lynch's Lázaro Frutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Remigio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play V.Lynch's Tobias Gilen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
