With a little luck, Calera AFC's Ivan Demario got control of the ball when Nemesio Elizardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.y D.Pinamar's zone, Evaristo Henrico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Nascimento came out of the goal and Evaristo Henrico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Musko in the 23rd minute of the match. When Calera AFC's Emiliano Ibañez in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Opilano couldn't finish the play. C.S.y D.Pinamar's Marcos Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Musko in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Roderigo in the 36th minute of play forced Calera AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antonio Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match, Nemesio Elizardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Demario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
