After having played for 4 minutes, Antonio Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Opilano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Augusto Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Lyon FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Bibiano. Aristides Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Fe having to interfere. Antonio Opilano might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Opilano ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Lyon FC's Severo Fe got control of the ball when Aristides Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristides Musko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. Emiliano Ibañez struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Severo Fe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calera AFC. In the 23rd minute, Angelino Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Emiliano Ibañez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lyon FC's Severo Fe. Severo Fe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute Aristides Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Fe made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Aristides Musko sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ibañez in the 33rd minute of play forced Lyon FC's goalkeeper Severo Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Calera AFC's Evaristo Henrico ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severo Fe. Severo Fe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 44th minute Emiliano Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Opilano in the 45th minute of the match. Ivan Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Primitivo Gomesano made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Calera AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Gomesano. Emiliano Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Severo Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Opilano in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Emiliano Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antonio Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Primitivo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Calera AFC's Ivan Demario got control of the ball when Clodoveo Gabon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Augusto Urko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Fe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Severo Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Opilano in the 77th minute of play. Severo Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Opilano's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Opilano in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Fe saved Lyon FC from getting behind. Severo Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ivan Demario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Gabon went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Antonio Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
