The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Desiderio Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Oidor in the 3rd minute of the match. Ambrosio Galoer hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Mansilla FC's Matias Txerran threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Epifanio Ibon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 20 played minutes Buitres FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Rojelio. In the 24th match minute, Buitres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Elvio Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Placido Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Epifanio Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Ibon to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Placido Itzaina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Mansilla FC booed when Buitres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Galoer struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Matias Txerran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansilla FC. After having played for 95 minutes, Epifanio Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Ibon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Mansilla FC were the better team. Mansilla FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
