The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marciano Eguntsenti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Galoer in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Cecilio Pueblo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the rosarioCentral and the Mansilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Epifanio Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 22nd minute of the match Cecilio Pueblo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cecilio Pueblo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 23rd match minute, rosarioCentral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. Mansilla FC's Epifanio Ibon got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Mansilla FC's Marciano Eguntsenti threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Epifanio Ibon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Galoer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marciano Eguntsenti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ambrosio Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Higinio Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mansilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 minutes, Humberto Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the rosarioCentral and the Mansilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, rosarioCentral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Mel to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Ambrosio Galoer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Eguntsenti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The wind increased when Epifanio Ibon made the kick off in the second half. If Ambrosio Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Segundo Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marciano Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansilla FC's Ambrosio Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Ambrosio Galoer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Galoer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severino Crispo fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rosarioCentral's protests and gave Severino Crispo a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Orland shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Humberto Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in rosarioCentral's zone, Ambrosio Galoer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Ambrosio Galoer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Galoer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Eguntsenti was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ambrosio Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mansilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Claus in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mansilla FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
