After 12 played minutes Barcala got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Figueroa. Omar Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Maties might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Koldobika. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Maties ran back to his position shaking his head. If Maximo Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Barcala's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Olayo came free, but Jesus Koldobika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Maties got free with Jesus Koldobika in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Barcala's Jesus Koldobika got control of the ball when Maximo Maties tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Barcala got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Truylos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Olayo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Koldobika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Olayo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jesus Koldobika didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuarendí AFC. 40 minutes into the match, Barcala's goalkeeper Jesus Koldobika had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Maties. After 45 played minutes, Barcala's Iker Nuñez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Eufrasio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barcala reached it. 46 minutes into the game, Eusebio Conrao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacuarendí AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcala the free kick. Eusebio Conrao hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jesus Koldobika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Olayo in the 70th minute of play. Jesus Koldobika didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tacuarendí AFC's Javier Olayo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jesus Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Barcala's Jesus Koldobika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Maties in the 91st minute of play. Javier Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jesus Koldobika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
