Gustavo Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Feliberto Gaskon made a huge save. Ivan Chuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Chuse ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Chuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Feliberto Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gaskon having to interfere. Feliberto Gaskon was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ivan Chuse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivan Chuse really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Cordaryal during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Green Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Los Depas FC booed when Green Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Chuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Fortun to make the kick off. Los Depas FC's Nereo Mel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Apolo Vermudo, made in the 52nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ivan Chuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Depas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Chuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Green Hills got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Frances. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gustavo Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Depas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Fortun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Chuse struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Depas FC. A sloppy throw-in by Nereo Cordaryal in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Depas FC's German Oton. 66 minutes into the game, Gustavo Fortun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Feliberto Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliberto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Chuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Green Hills getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Faustino Tono hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Green Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Chuse came free, but Feliberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Chuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Gustavo Fortun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Gaskon. Green Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Fortun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Ivan Chuse came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Los Depas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Chuse couldn't finish the play. Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Fortun in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Los Depas FC were the better team. Los Depas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
