When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Claudio Gudesteo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Truylos. Rosendo Paulin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Angel Truylos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Hills. The supporters of Green Hills booed when ELEGANTE CIRUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Green Hills's Nereo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, ELEGANTE CIRUJA's Augusto Orlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Gaskon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Pasqual in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Gaskon saved Green Hills from getting behind. Rosendo Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Truylos having to interfere. Angel Truylos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Hills's Rosendo Paulin. But to his dismay, Rosendo Paulin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 45th minute Claudio Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Green Hills's Rosendo Paulin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Truylos was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Gudesteo to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Augusto Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELEGANTE CIRUJA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Orlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gaskon having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Green Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Tono to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Feliberto Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gervasio Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Orlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Gaskon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to ELEGANTE CIRUJA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ignacio Oxarra hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes ELEGANTE CIRUJA got a freekick which was hit by Dario Eder. Gervasio Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When ELEGANTE CIRUJA's Augusto Orlin in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
