Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgardo Uhin kicked off to start the match. Lanus F.C.'s Feliberto Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Gudesteo in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes Lanus F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rosendo Sayveon who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Green Hills getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paolo Ovando hit a great ball. Feliberto Izotz was a little too slow when Rosendo Paulin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hills's zone, Niceto Ramone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Gaskon came out of the goal and Niceto Ramone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gaskon having to interfere. Edgardo Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Lanus F.C.'s goalkeeper Feliberto Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Paulin. Feliberto Izotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Paulin in the 42nd minute. Emiliano Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Green Hills's Rosendo Sayveon got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 52 played minutes Green Hills got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Gudesteo. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hills's zone, Edgardo Uhin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Gaskon came out of the goal and Edgardo Uhin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ramone in the 64th minute of play forced Green Hills's goalkeeper Feliberto Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Green Hills booed when Lanus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Lanus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Paulin came free, but Feliberto Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lanus F.C.'s Aurelio Nayely got a free kick in the 71st minute. Feliberto Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Green Hills got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Ovando. When Aurelio Nayely fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanus F.C.'s protests and gave Aurelio Nayely a yellow card for diving instead. If Faustino Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Green Hills's goalkeeper Feliberto Gaskon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Uhin. There was no doubt that Green Hills were the better team. Green Hills's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
