The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Peli got free with Herminio Chale in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Dominic struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Herminio Chale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmas F.C.. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 73rdth minute of the game Ignacio Peli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rahué's Herminio Chale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cecilio Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Librado having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Vicente Oskarbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Dominic in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Chale saved Rahué from getting behind. When Ignacio Peli came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Palmas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Peli couldn't finish the play. Palmas F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
