After 11 minutes, Edgard Indartsu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rahué's Herminio Chale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Indartsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Herminio Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Edgard Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Chale having to interfere. If Edgard Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahué's Herminio Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Paz in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Indartsu in the 48th minute of play forced Rahué's goalkeeper Herminio Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Herminio Chale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
