After a defensive mix-up in HIV's zone, Leonides Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Milian came out of the goal and Leonides Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Domeka scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Platon Alanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. EL ESFUERZO FC's Platon Alanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Domeka in the 20th minute of play. Platon Alanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Naike in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Celedonio Naike left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HIV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, HIV's Teodosio Quintan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Hilario Etxekopar scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Platon Alanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Platon Alanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Domeka in the 41st minute of play. Celedonio Naike scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Platon Alanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half HIV were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Naike to strike the kick off in the second half. EL ESFUERZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Domeka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Platon Alanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Naike in the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as HIV's Celedonio Naike slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Platon Alanis. That made the score 0-6 after 70 minutes of play. Roberto Bras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Milian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Platon Alanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Naike in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of EL ESFUERZO FC booed when HIV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, HIV's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Ellande came free, but Dionisio Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
