Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Totakoxe in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Milian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Instituto Atlético C.C's Pedro Cordarell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Totakoxe to make the kick off. A collision led to HIV getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Maximino Cidro hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, HIV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Milian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute.
