Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 48) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wawrzyniec Gibowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cornelio Matai charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Matai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Higuerita FC's Cornelio Matai got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Roddie Bartholomew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Tiburcio Galindo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Roddie Bartholomew came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Wolfhard A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roddie Bartholomew couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Higuerita FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Galindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roddie Bartholomew. After taking down the ball on Wolfhard A.C.'s corner Pascual Gilabert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiburcio Galindo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute, Feliberto Joachim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolfhard A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Roddie Bartholomew in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiburcio Galindo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Renato Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolfhard A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Cornelio Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuerita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roddie Bartholomew who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Galindo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Higuerita FC got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Gibowski. Renato Gaúcho had several of the Higuerita FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Tiburcio Galindo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 47 minutes into the match, Renato Gaúcho notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Higuerita FC's Tiburcio Galindo. Tiburcio Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roddie Bartholomew to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Renato Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolfhard A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Roberto Goyeneche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Galindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Gaúcho's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Tiburcio Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roddie Bartholomew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, Wolfhard A.C.'s Roddie Bartholomew made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Galindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Renato Gaúcho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Galindo. Higuerita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Gaúcho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Gaúcho in the 70th minute of play forced Higuerita FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Higuerita FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Matai. If Roddie Bartholomew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Gaúcho in the 80th minute of the match. Renato Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Wolfhard A.C. booed when Higuerita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Gaúcho in the 83rd minute of play. Tiburcio Galindo came out of the goal and Renato Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roddie Bartholomew in the 89th minute of the match. Tiburcio Galindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roddie Bartholomew's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Higuerita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roddie Bartholomew came free, but Tiburcio Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Cristobal Conrao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuerita FC and the Wolfhard A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Higuerita FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Higuerita FC:s Tiburcio Galindo showed great skill when he stopped Renato Gaúcho:s penalty. Tiburcio Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roddie Bartholomew in the 99th minute of play. There was no doubt that Wolfhard A.C. were the better team. Wolfhard A.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
