Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Celso Gaufred successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Higuerita FC's Celso Gaufred threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erubiel Acosta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Higuerita FC were awarded a corner. Serafino Argina went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Higuerita FC's corner Serafino Argina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Gaufred quite easily take care of the ball. Erubiel Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Gaufred having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Carmelo Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Erubiel Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Gaufred having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Acosta in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Gaufred saved Diana from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Erubiel Acosta took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Celso Gaufred to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Diana's Nestor Jokin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Felix Mattin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Celso Gaufred made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Diana's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Acosta came free, but Celso Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Felix Mattin might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Mattin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th match minute, Diana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Vidal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Diana's zone, Erubiel Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Gaufred came out of the goal and Erubiel Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Higuerita FC's Felix Mattin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Cornelio Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Mattin scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Gaufred, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Galindo made a huge save. Paulo Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Galindo having to interfere. When Erubiel Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Higuerita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Acosta couldn't finish the play. Celso Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mattin in the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Tiburcio Galindo managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Diana's Nestor Jokin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the game, Cornelio Matai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Celso Gaufred was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Higuerita FC's Manuel Seguinus got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Diana's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Acosta came free, but Celso Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
