In the 2nd match minute, Higuerita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Maju to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Goyeneche hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Rawson F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Telmo to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Argina, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tiburcio Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Dias in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Dias in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Galindo saved Higuerita FC from getting behind. Aurelio Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Wawrzyniec Gibowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Jago was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tiburcio Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Dias in the 20th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Cristian Dias made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Galindo. Higuerita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 33 minutes of play, Rawson F.C's Cristian Dias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Galindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Dias in the 44th minute of play forced Higuerita FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawrzyniec Gibowski to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Higuerita FC got a corner. Rawson F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Argina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Higuerita FC's Serafino Argina to fire away a dangerous shot which Laureano Jago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Dias scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Galindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Pepillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Galindo having to make a save. Tiburcio Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 70 minutes into the match, Rawson F.C's Aurelio Pepillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Galindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute Cristian Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rawson F.C made a substitution. Joel Elodio replaced Cristo Venceslas. Aurelio Pepillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
