After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Raul Petrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawson F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Petrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Raul Petrescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Raul Petrescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Diana's Celso Gaufred. Celso Gaufred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diana's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Dias 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Celso Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Petrescu went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes Diana got a freekick which was hit by Joel Franco. After having played for 40 minutes, Nestor Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Jokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A long shot from Orlando Sustrai in the 43rd minute of play was well struck, but Celso Gaufred made a really good save at the right post. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristian Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rawson F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Dias was the one to do the kick off. Celso Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Diana got a freekick which was hit by Joel Franco. Celso Gaufred came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Rawson F.C's Aurelio Pepillo. But to his dismay, Aurelio Pepillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Celso Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Dias went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Raul Petrescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Aurelio Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawson F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Pepillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Diana getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bruno Abascal hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Raul Petrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Jokin got free with Laureano Jago in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rawson F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mateo Gora hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Mateo Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Dias in the 82nd minute of the match. Joel Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Diana's Joel Franco got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Rawson F.C's Francisco Salvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Diana's Celso Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Dias in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Gustavo Maraman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rawson F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Rawson F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
