Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jindřich Přecechtěl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Conrado Ermengol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan-Sebastián Torres went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Conrado Ermengol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Ferman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Narciso Macias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez the free kick. After 11 played minutes Puerto Madryn Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Macias. In the 13th minute of the match Velez got a corner. Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Arósio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Elias Lonzo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 14 minutes into the match. Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's Conrado Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ferman in the 19th minute of play. Juan-Sebastián Torres scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Ermengol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrado Ermengol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jindřich Přecechtěl went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 30 minutes of play, Velez's Enrique Arósio made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Ermengol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Puerto Madryn Futbol Club were furious when Jacinto Anaya was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. One of Puerto Madryn Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Velez:s goal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Velez. Enrique Arósio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conrado Ermengol. 0-7. In the 45th minute, Esteban Ferman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Ermengol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Ferman made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Velez's Esteban Ferman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Ermengol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. 55 minutes into the match, Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's Raul Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan-Sebastián Torres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Velez's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 58th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Ermengol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's zone, Enrique Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Ermengol came out of the goal and Enrique Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velez's Esteban Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Caton in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Velez's Jindřich Přecechtěl got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's Conrado Ermengol got control of the ball when Esteban Ferman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan-Sebastián Torres took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Ermengol. Conrado Ermengol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. In the 77th minute, Esteban Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Enrique Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. In the 85th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Ermengol. The goal made the score 0-13. Juan-Sebastián Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Conrado Ermengol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Ermengol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Sebastián Torres in the 95th minute of the match. Velez's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
