The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Primeiro got free with Aquilino Ciano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aquilino Ciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernan Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Israel Vigil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Ciano. San Marco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Vigil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Aquilino Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Puerto Madryn Futbol Club were the better team. Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
