Gilberto Maurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Sebastián Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes OLAYON FC CDE got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Curcio. In the 17th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gilberto Maurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jindřich Přecechtěl in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jedrzej Tomaka got free with Gilberto Maurin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Maurin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan-Sebastián Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Maurin. The goal made the score 5-0. If Juan-Sebastián Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, OLAYON FC CDE's goal looked a bit too open when Jindřich Přecechtěl came free, but Gilberto Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OLAYON FC CDE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Juan-Sebastián Torres scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Maurin, making the score, 7-0. Enrique Arósio shot a long shot in the 39th minute and a light blocked Gilberto Maurin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 8-0. A collision led to OLAYON FC CDE getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Feliciano Navarro hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Tomaka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Maurin, 9-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jedrzej Tomaka made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Maurin. OLAYON FC CDE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 61st minute, OLAYON FC CDE's Feliciano Navarro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Feliciano Navarro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of OLAYON FC CDE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Feliciano Navarro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, OLAYON FC CDE's Feliciano Navarro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Maurin came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez's Juan-Sebastián Torres. But to his dismay, Juan-Sebastián Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Juan-Sebastián Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Juan-Sebastián Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Maurin. OLAYON FC CDE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Sebastián Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Venancio Caton hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Damario in the 72nd minute of play forced Velez's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Velez's Juan-Sebastián Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Maurin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. The supporters of Velez booed when OLAYON FC CDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, OLAYON FC CDE's Gualterio Damario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Velez's Enrique Arósio made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Maurin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jedrzej Tomaka scored 16-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Maurin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Velez's Jindřich Přecechtěl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Maurin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. 97 minutes into the match, OLAYON FC CDE's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Arósio came free, but Gilberto Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Velez were the better team. Velez's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
