The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berrigan Colwell hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Clúb Futbol Campilé's Bracken John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Clúb Futbol Campilé from getting a goal against them. In the 11th match minute, Clúb Futbol Campilé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braon Caffey to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Barclay McFrank in the 12th minute really tested Bracken John's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Gill Ghee threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cloonlumny's Oliver Lavine quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaby McAaron in the 17th minute of the match. Braon Caffey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavin Harkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cloonlumny's Rorry McPhilip got a free kick in the 21st minute. Barnaby McAaron took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavin Harkin. Gavin Harkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cloonlumny's Rorry McPhilip got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaby McAaron in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cloonlumny's zone, Braon Caffey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavin Harkin came out of the goal and Braon Caffey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th match minute, Cloonlumny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaby McAaron in the 45th minute of the match. Braon Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The supporters of Clúb Futbol Campilé booed when Cloonlumny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donell MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaby McAaron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gavin Harkin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Clúb Futbol Campilé's Bracken John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barclay McFrank in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Braon Caffey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavin Harkin. That made the score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. Barnaby McAaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gavin Harkin made a huge save. Declan McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bracken John having to interfere. Bradaigh Moran got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Henry McPeter. Donell Caffrey's late challenge caught a Cloonlumny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donell Caffrey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Donell Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barclay McFrank took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bracken John. Bracken John dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gavin Harkin was a little too slow when Braon Caffey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-3. After a rather tough play, Cloonlumny's Garrett McPaul got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Clúb Futbol Campilé had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
