Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boyce Dalton made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Newtownbarry FC's zone, Barclay McFrank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tierney McGlenn came out of the goal and Barclay McFrank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barclay McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tierney McGlenn having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Boyce Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barclay McFrank in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tierney McGlenn saved Newtownbarry FC from getting behind. After having played for 13 minutes, Henry McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonlumny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry McPeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry McPeter in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tierney McGlenn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bradaigh Moran hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Raymond Tierney sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavin Harkin skillfully saved the ball. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Keegan in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Henry McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloonlumny's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry McPeter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tierney McGlenn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Barclay McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonlumny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barclay McFrank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tierney McGlenn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Declan McJames in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Cloonlumny's Bradaigh Moran got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes, Newtownbarry FC's Raymond Tierney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavin Harkin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newtownbarry FC reached it. Gavin Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barclay McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Declan McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tierney McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barclay McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Tierney McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barclay McFrank to make the kick off. Gavin Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyce Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barclay McFrank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Cloonlumny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donell MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. Bairne Hughes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gavin Harkin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Declan McJames in the 64th minute of play forced Newtownbarry FC's goalkeeper Tierney McGlenn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin Harkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bairne Hughes in the 75th minute. Tierney McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Newtownbarry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Declan McJames came free, but Tierney McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tierney McGlenn came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloonlumny's Barclay McFrank. But to his dismay, Barclay McFrank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 88th match minute, Cloonlumny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Boyce Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tierney McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Cloonlumny's Gavin Harkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyce Dalton in the 95th minute of play. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairne Hughes in the 99th minute of the match.
