After 13 minutes of play, Benmore's Baine Moran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bracken John was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th match minute, Benmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beacan Bayes to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Braon Caffey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blathmac Ferguson, 1-1. Barnaby McAaron struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Blathmac Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clúb Futbol Campilé. Bracken John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baine Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Blathmac Ferguson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braon Caffey in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Benmore getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Keelin McCready hit a great ball. Baine Moran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keelin McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bracken John having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bil Ferguson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Clúb Futbol Campilé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brede MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Gaynor Moran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benmore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clúb Futbol Campilé the free kick. After a rather tough play, Benmore's Gaynor Moran got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 79th minute, Keelin McCready reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bracken John. The goal made the score 1-2. Berrigan Colwell hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Benmore left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clúb Futbol Campilé.
