In the 26th minute, Barnaby McAaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bercan Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Clúb Futbol Campilé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farrell Ghee to maneuver through the defense. Clúb Futbol Campilé's Bracken John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenainn McSteven in the 36th minute of play. Braon Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Braon Caffey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clúb Futbol Campilé's supporters rose to their feet, but Braon Caffey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bercan Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braon Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnaby McAaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Bercan Doyle made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brenainn McSteven to make the kick off. If Braon Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bercan Doyle didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Clúb Futbol Campilé's Braon Caffey shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Clúb Futbol Campilé's Bracken John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Clúb Futbol Campilé from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Emyvale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Braon Caffey came free, but Bercan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
