After a rather tough play, Emyvale AFC's Bellaghy Murphy got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul McJohnny in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bercan Doyle saved Emyvale AFC from getting behind. After 13 played minutes Bunnanaddan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Paul McJohnny. In the 17th minute, Paul McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harrigan Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenainn McSteven in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Boland McBrandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Paul McJohnny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bercan Doyle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Paul McJohnny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bercan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Tory McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paul McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bunnanaddan Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul McJohnny couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Daniel Lavine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnanaddan Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emyvale AFC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Emyvale AFC's Tory McPaul dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Harrigan Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finbar Duggan in the 54th minute of the match. When Reagan McNamara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Bunnanaddan Utd's Reagan McNamara got a free kick in the 55th minute. Daniel Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Harrigan Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Dempsey in the 59th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Paul McJohnny took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Bercan Doyle to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 65 minutes, Paul McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunnanaddan Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Lee Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Emyvale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Paul McJohnny put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bercan Doyle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal Glen Crowe in the 78th minute of play forced Bunnanaddan Utd's goalkeeper Harrigan Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrigan Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Dempsey in the 81st minute of play. Bairthmead Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul McJohnny got free with Bercan Doyle in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
