When Benny White came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Leicester Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benny White couldn't finish the play. Lance Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Peng Xi in the 8th minute of play. Lance Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Köhler in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Gerard Costello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dawid Cizeski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gerard Costello made a huge save. In the 20thth minute of the game Dawid Cizeski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Gerard Costello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lance Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Gaúcho in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Nuno Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Cheetham. Gerard Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Cizeski in the 27th minute of the match. Lance Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdeněk Köhler in the 33rd minute of play. Leicester Lions's Gerard Costello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Lions from getting a goal against them. Lance Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Köhler in the 41st minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dawid Cizeski to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerard Costello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Du Peng Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Walton having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Köhler in the 75th minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Lance Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Dawid Cizeski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Gerard Costello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leicester Lions's Alexander-James Ford was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. Nuno Gaúcho in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lance Walton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lance Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Köhler in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zdeněk Köhler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Walton was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Benny White had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leicester Lions players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Beech United.
