Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aad van Zonderen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luke Deveraux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar van Rhijn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vic Burrows in the 5th minute. Huey Porter in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar van Rhijn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vic Burrows got free with Edgar van Rhijn in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Huey Porter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar van Rhijn. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sheep United's Roderick van Olst got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Coos Verweijen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gerry Neville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vic Burrows could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edgar van Rhijn made a huge save. Edgar van Rhijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huey Porter in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Ralf Hind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sheep United's Edgar van Rhijn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rod Reading hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gerry Neville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coos Verweijen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Leicester Lions's Ralf Hind got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Huey Porter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Huey Porter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar van Rhijn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vic Burrows to make the kick off. A collision led to Sheep United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bas Scheffer hit a great ball. Vic Burrows scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar van Rhijn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar van Rhijn came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Lions's Ralf Hind. But to his dismay, Ralf Hind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ozzy Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edgar van Rhijn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leicester Lions's Ralf Hind got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leicester Lions's Vic Burrows in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheep United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute, Ralf Hind left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 86 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Burrows came free, but Edgar van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar van Rhijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Porter, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Hind in the 93rd minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Edgar van Rhijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Johnson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 98 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Hind came free, but Edgar van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leicester Lions fully deserved thier win.
