An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Jakobsson in the 8th minute of play forced Tanumshede FF's goalkeeper Herbert Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingmar Melin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Brian Flinck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ingmar Melin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Brian Flinck made a huge save. BK Skjutet's Brian Flinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Forssberg in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Stefan Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tanumshede FF's Joakim Forssberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brian Flinck. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th minute Joakim Forssberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Forssberg took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Flinck. Brian Flinck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Herbert Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Jakobsson in the 34th minute of play. Stefan Jakobsson took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Brun. Herbert Brun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Herbert Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Jakobsson in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Forssberg in the 45th minute of play forced BK Skjutet's goalkeeper Brian Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Forssberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sonny Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tanumshede FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mattias Caspersson hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, BK Skjutet's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Melin came free, but Brian Flinck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Glanselius hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Caspersson during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Skjutet booed when Tanumshede FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Jakobsson in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Brun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Tanumshede FF's Herbert Brun got control of the ball when Sonny Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philip Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Brun having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
