Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Åke Ånger took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sven-Åke Ånger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reine Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Ekrot in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes FC Mack got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Hellbom. A collision led to FC Mack getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alvar Skager hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rune Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Djuuuuuu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Kihlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Lilja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Mack's Reine Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Kruuse in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Andreas Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Mossberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Djuuuuuu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alf Wallman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Mack's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alf Wallman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Djuuuuuu's Yngve Mossberg did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, FC Mack's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Majman came free, but Reine Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Kihlberg's late challenge caught a FC Mack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Kihlberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, FC Djuuuuuu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Kihlberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Alf Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Linqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reine Lilja. FC Mack's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Kruuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reine Lilja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Ekrot went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Ekrot got free with Reine Lilja in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Lilja having to interfere. Sven-Åke Ånger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Mack's Alf Wallman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Djuuuuuu's zone, Alf Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Mossberg came out of the goal and Alf Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcus Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reine Lilja was a little too slow when Gunnar Kruuse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 84thth minute of the game Gunnar Kruuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Mack's Reine Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Åke Ånger hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Alvar Skager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mack and the FC Djuuuuuu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Alvar Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mack's zone, Rune Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Lilja came out of the goal and Rune Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reine Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Ekrot in the 93rd minute. FC Djuuuuuu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
