Reine Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Fors in the 10th minute of play forced FC Mack's goalkeeper Reine Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reine Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Fors in the 16th minute of play. Isaac Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Fredrik Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, FC Mack's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Pååk came free, but Reine Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Hammerdal's goalkeeper Tomas Kolberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Blomqvist. Reine Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes FC Mack got a freekick which was hit by Anders Stolpe. Alvar Skager lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bengt-Åke Mellberg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Reine Lilja right hand side. After 45 minutes, Bengt-Åke Mellberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammerdal and the FC Mack players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Hammerdal's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Wallman came free, but Tomas Kolberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammerdal's Isaac Fors slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reine Lilja. That made the score 0-1 after 54 minutes of play. In the 59th minute Isaac Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hammerdal getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Mellberg hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Lars Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Pååks short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Reine Lilja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Fredrik Pååk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mack's zone, Isaac Fors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Lilja came out of the goal and Isaac Fors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Pååks short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Reine Lilja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 82 played minutes FC Mack got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Dahlbom. Reine Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Fors in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Bengt-Åke Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes FC Mack got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Dahlbom. Reine Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Pååk in the 96th minute. The FC Mack supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hammerdal's performance. The match ended with a win for Hammerdal.
