Tomas Kolberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, FC Djuuuuuu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Linqvist to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, FC Djuuuuuu's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Fors came free, but Yngve Mossberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Djuuuuuu's goalkeeper Yngve Mossberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gunnar Kruuse made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hammerdal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Torsten Barck hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes Rune Kihlberg shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Hammerdal's Tomas Kolberg to catch but Rune Kihlberg was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Fredrik Pååk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Yngve Mossberg made a huge save. Isaac Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yngve Mossberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Fors in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Pååk got free with Yngve Mossberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 91 minutes, Fredrik Pååk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammerdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Pååk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
