The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Skoglund in the 5th minute of play forced TURHAN FC's goalkeeper Dennis Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Hammarberg in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alex Källberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. TURHAN FC's Dennis Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Engman in the 17th minute of play. John Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Engman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Hammarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lyckeby United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Magnus Åström was slow to take the kick. During this time TURHAN FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on TURHAN FC's corner Magnus Åström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Källberg quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Lyckeby United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. John Fredriksson hit a great ball. Alex Källberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Hammarberg's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With an all-out effort, TURHAN FC's Alex Källberg threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathias Hammarberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby United's Stellan Wallander got a free kick in the 47th minute. A collision led to Lyckeby United getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Stellan Wallander hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Andy Skoglund made the kick off in the second half. Dennis Lundin was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and John Engman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. John Engman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Alex Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Hammarberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Åkerström struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alex Källberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TURHAN FC. Lyckeby United made a substitution. Wictor Hermansson replaced Edvard Hjortsberg. In the 68th minute Lyckeby United were awarded a corner. Carl Bure went to the cornerflag to take it. Lyckeby United's Carl Bure was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dennis Lundin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bertil Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mathias Hammarberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Källberg was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Magnus Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, John Engman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Lundin. John Engman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. TURHAN FC's Dennis Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save TURHAN FC from getting a goal against them. TURHAN FC's Hannes Odén was substituted for Mathias Hammarberg. When Hannes Odén came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the TURHAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Odén couldn't finish the play. The Lyckeby United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
