Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Lyckeby United fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Lyckeby United's John Engman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Lobster if booed when Lyckeby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when John Engman sent off a good shot on target. John Engman might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Engman ran back to his position shaking his head. Evert Linberg charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Linberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Lyckeby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Linberg to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Lobster if got a freekick which was hit by Jim Liljeström. If John Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mattsson having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Ralf Mattsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute of the match Lyckeby United got a corner. Lobster if's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl Bure ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lyckeby United's Victor Grelsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralf Mattsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. John Engman struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ralf Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyckeby United. 37 minutes into the match, Andy Skoglund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson. Ralf Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andy Skoglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Holmberg to make the kick off. John Engman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Mattsson having to make a save. Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Skoglund in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, John Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyckeby United's supporters rose to their feet, but John Engman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, John Engman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Mattsson. Lobster if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Engman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Andy Skoglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Mattsson. John Engman took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Mattsson. John Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ralf Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Holmberg's late challenge caught a Lyckeby United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Holmberg helped the player get up and apologised. Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Engman in the 77th minute of play. John Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ralf Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, Lyckeby United's John Engman made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Mattsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Andy Skoglund notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson. Ralf Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victor Grelsson scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Mattsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Engman in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Mattsson saved Lobster if from getting behind. There was no doubt that Lyckeby United were the better team. Lyckeby United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
