A collision led to TURHAN FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mathias Hammarberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Termander in the 9th minute of play forced TURHAN FC's goalkeeper Dennis Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Karl-Åke Termander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Lundin was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Karl-Åke Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Termander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TURHAN FC's Dennis Lundin. Dennis Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mathias Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. TURHAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Hammarberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Djurgårdens IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Hammarberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Botvidsson came free in the 63rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Dennis Lundin, but to the joy of TURHAN FC's supporters the ball went over. If Karl-Åke Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Magnus Åström in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Djurgårdens IF's Tobias Pettersson. When Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TURHAN FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jörgen Ekberg made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TURHAN FC's Bertil Åkerström. Dennis Lundin came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander. But to his dismay, Karl-Åke Termander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. TURHAN FC made a substitution. Hannes Odén replaced Mathias Hammarberg. The Djurgårdens IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
