After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Henrik Stor got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Fusk&Bygg AB getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rudy Lewis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Sundin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Fribäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute John Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Källberg in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Källberg in the 24th minute of play forced Fusk&Bygg AB's goalkeeper Paul Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ralf Sundin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck. Manfred Fribäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 played minutes Fusk&Bygg AB got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Lekberg. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Sundin in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Norrlands Athen's zone, Ralf Sundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Fribäck came out of the goal and Ralf Sundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Lekberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Källberg in the 47th minute of play forced Fusk&Bygg AB's goalkeeper Paul Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Källberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Fusk&Bygg AB's Ralf Sundin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Ralf Sundin made a precise shot to the right of Manfred Fribäck. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 56 minutes, Larry Tatum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norrlands Athen and the Fusk&Bygg AB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Larry Tatum hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Larry Tatum got a free kick in the 70th minute. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Tage Backlund replaced John Carew. Bennvar Bonk might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Fribäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Bonk ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfred Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Bonk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Tolsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tage Backlund in the 79th minute. If Ralf Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Sundin in the 81st minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Blanck, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Fusk&Bygg AB made a substitution. Fritz Kleen replaced Ralf Sundin. In the 88th minute of the match Fusk&Bygg AB got a corner. Norrlands Athen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Broman ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute Fritz Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Kleen in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Fribäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Fusk&Bygg AB were the better team. Fusk&Bygg AB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
